Cancellation and refund
Free cancellation, with a full refund of the deposit paid at the time of booking, up to 48 hours before the arrival date.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the arrival date are not entitled to a refund of the deposit.
In case of adverse sea weather conditions, cancellation and refund are always guaranteed.
Date change: Free of charge, subject to availability, but may require an adjustment to the rate applicable for the new date chosen.
Pick-up and return
Boat pick-up is permitted from 8:30am and no later than 10:30am. Failure to arrive by the agreed time will result in cancellation of the booking without entitlement to a refund.
Late return beyond the agreed time incurs a charge of €50 per 15 minutes.
Fuel
The boat is delivered with a full fuel tank and must be returned with a full tank.
Security deposit
On the day of rental, a cash security deposit of €200 is required (when renting two or more boats, the deposit is €300 per boat), along with a valid identity document (original, not a copy), such as a driving licence, identity card or passport.
Passengers and safety
Children on board are counted as adults and should wear appropriate life jackets.
After signing the contract, the number of passengers may not be changed without authorisation from Daymar, and may never exceed the maximum permitted capacity.
For safety reasons, we do not rent boats to solo travellers.
Minimum age for rental: 21 years.
Ability to swim is required.
The driver must be fluent in at least one of the following languages: Italian, English, French or Spanish.
Required documents
A valid identity document (original, not a copy), such as a driving licence, identity card or passport.
Liability
Upon signing the contract, all responsibility falls on the signatory. Any damage or loss caused to the boat through wilful misconduct, negligence, inattention or carelessness will be charged to the customer.
Entry into the Bue Marino Caves or any other cave or crevice with the rental boat is not permitted.
Early return due to adverse weather conditions does not entitle the customer to a reduction or refund of the rental cost.
Daymar provides assistance throughout the rental period. The company reserves the right to charge rescue costs of €50 per hour or part thereof, plus fuel costs, should assistance be requested for trivial reasons caused by negligent use of the vessel.
Daymar accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to personal belongings brought on board.
Daymar reserves the right to cancel the booking, without refund of the deposit paid, should one or more points of the policy (accepted at the time of booking) not be respected.
Extra costs
The boat rental rate does not include the cost of fuel.
From 9 December 2024: An ecological contribution of €2 per person, managed by the Municipality of Dorgali, for access, cleaning, waste disposal and boat services at Cala Luna beach.
From 2 August 2025: An ecological contribution of €3 per person, managed by the Municipality of Baunei, for access, cleaning, waste disposal and boat services at the beaches.

Check-in within 30 minutes of departure, otherwise the booking will be cancelled without entitlement to a refund of the deposit.

The itinerary may vary depending on sea weather conditions and any new regulations from the relevant authorities.
Early return due to adverse weather conditions does not entitle the customer to a reduction or refund of the excursion cost.
